It is important to recognize that it takes repetition, repetition, repetition, to get the results you desire.
Your human reaction to your dog’s behaviors are normal to how you would respond to a another human. Many times, you end up reinforcing a behavior you don’t want.
If you catch yourself, you can change your reactions and one “mistake” will not change your dog’s behavior.
Anything you do once or twice will not change or reinforce a behavior, either good or bad.
